A native of Ontario, Catharine Grasty has vivid memories of a childhood steeped in the arts, sharing with a family of seven a deep love of the natural world. These, combined with a passion for living reflects in all of her work today whether painting, writing or doing Interior Design. Her drawings and paintings are held in private collections across Canada, including homes of Members of Parliament and Public Corporations. As a writer, she speaks passionately and honestly of love, and life and will have a sampling of her work featured in the upcoming anthology, In The Company of Women, anticipated to be released early in 2012.
