turtles sing, straining
sounds bubble through pond's skin
thin green celadine
dining on roasted
celery hearts-olives dropped
within long turrets
ragosa-wild rose
if you permeate the air
anymore, i'll cry
within the sculpture
of your amorous embrace,
little lovely death
releasing, luring
forgetting the waltz, journey
is as sweet, complete
after we climb peak
we descend so carefully,
holding heights within
egrets prefer shade
within the heat of may day
play tag, cooly flirt
waterfalls parade
overgrowth in trees receive
watery loving
stream, west of still pond
loyal to wider waters
spills grace as she moves
so many red wing
black birds screech in forest joy
we take the red in
